Τhe Durrel’s house at Kalami beach
This beach fairly enchants the visitor at first sight. Small pebbles, crystal clear waters, in a green landscape full of pines and cypresses.
This place was the source of inspiration to one of the most famous English writers of the 20th century, the author Lawrence Durrell. The family lived for many years in a white house that dominates the beach under the same name, which was typically named «The White House».
